چکیده
Additive manufacturing techniques are revolutionizing product development by enabling fast turnaround from design to fabrication. However, the throughput of rapid prototyping pipeline remains constrained print optimization, requiring multiple iterations fabrication and ex-situ metrology. Despite need for a suitable technology, robust in-situ shape measurement an entire is not currently available with any additive modality. Here, we address this shortcoming demonstrating fully simultaneous 3D metrology printing. We exploit dramatic increase in light scattering photoresin during gelation real-time imaging prints tomographic volumetric manufacturing. Tomographic density build volume yields quantitative, artifact-free + time models cured objects that accurate below 1% size print. By integrating into printing process, our work paves way next-generation defect detection correction.

Metrology Requirements for Manufacturing 3d Integrated Circuits
Three-dimensional integrated circuits (3D ICs) introduce wafer bonding and Through Silicon Vias (TSVs) as new modules, thus extending manufacturing requirements beyond CMOS. A 3D IC with a photosensor is taken as an example to further analyze the resulting new metrology requirements for mass production. For the wafer bond module, data on defects before and after bonding, bond interface adhesion...

متن کاملOne-step volumetric additive manufacturing of complex polymer structures
Two limitations of additive manufacturing methods that arise from layer-based fabrication are slow speed and geometric constraints (which include poor surface quality). Both limitations are overcome in the work reported here, introducing a new volumetric additive fabrication paradigm that produces photopolymer structures with complex nonperiodic three-dimensional geometries on a time scale of s...
متن کاملA review on 3D micro-additive manufacturing technologies
New microproducts need the utilization of a diversity of materials and have complicated three-dimensional (3D) microstructures with high aspect ratios. To date, many micromanufacturing processes have been developed but specific class of such processes are applicable for fabrication of functional and true 3D microcomponents/assemblies. The aptitude to process a broad range of materials and the a...
متن کاملSurvey on Additive Manufacturing, Cloud 3D Printing and Services
Cloud Manufacturing (CM) is the concept of using manufacturing resources in a service oriented way over the Internet. Recent developments in Additive Manufacturing (AM) are making it possible to utilise resources ad-hoc as replacement for traditional manufacturing resources in case of spontaneous problems in the established manufacturing processes. In order to be of use in these scenarios the A...
